Behind Joyeuse Provence

My name is Estelle Camous. I was born and raised in Maussane-les-Alpilles, in a family of olive growers, beekeepers and jam and jelly makers. I spent all my youth next to the cauldron tasting all recipes. Joyeuse Provence was born from my roots, from a way of life passed down to me: to be happy with what we have, who we are, and what we share with others. I grew up in a family where everything was done with hands, heart and respect. Our life followed the seasons, with the same scents, the same light, the same gestures, returning year after year.

Olive oil, fruit, honey: these have been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember.

With a degree in sensory analysis from the University of Wine in Suze-la-Rousse and a Master’s in brand strategy, I then spent ten years at made in mouse®, a communications agency in Maussane-les-Alpilles specializing in wine and agriculture. Alongside the founder and president, I took part in exciting projects: creating brands that did not yet exist and are now widely present in the wine market, repositioning identities that gained visibility and reputation, but also organizing events such as Vinapogée, a major meeting around great wines for aging.

During those years, I built a solid understanding of the world of wine, marketing, and event design. They also instilled in me a way of working where teamwork, creativity, and attention to detail are essential.

I created Joyeuse Provence to bring together who I am and what I know how to do: to share the Provence I was raised in, and to support those who carry on its traditions.
