At the origin…

Behind Joyeuse Provence
My name is Estelle Camous. I was born and raised in Maussane-les-Alpilles, in a family of olive growers, beekeepers and jam and jelly makers. I spent all my youth next to the cauldron tasting all recipes. Joyeuse Provence was born from my roots, from a way of life passed down to me: to be happy with what we have, who we are, and what we share with others. I grew up in a family where everything was done with hands, heart and respect. Our life followed the seasons, with the same scents, the same light, the same gestures, returning year after year.
Olive oil, fruit, honey: these have been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember.
After a diploma in sensory analysis from the Université du Vin de Suze-la-Rousse and a master's degree in brand strategy, I worked for ten years in a communications consultancy specializing in wine and agriculture, made in mouse®, in Maussane-les-Alpilles. Working alongside the company's president and founder, I was involved in a number of exciting projects: the creation of brands that are now present on a large scale in the wine market (from researching names to designing identities, creating brand universes, creating ranges, choosing packaging and defining communication strategies), the repositioning of identities to reinforce their visibility, as well as the organization of "wine events". Vinapogée, a unique event in Paris dedicated to great ageing wines.
These years have given me a solid understanding of the world of wine, marketing and events. Above all, they have taught me to work with high standards and pleasure, in a team spirit where creativity and attention to detail are essential.
I created Joyeuse Provence to bring together who I am and what I know how to do: to share the Provence I was raised in, and to support those who carry on its traditions.
Estelle
